About the Role

BOXX Insurance is a fast-growing Canadian Insurtech company, helping businesses and families stay ahead of cyber risks with Cyberboxx, its break-through product suite. The company is also expanding into the USA. Due to continued growth in North America, BOXX is looking for talented Business Development Managers to join our growing team in USA. This is a fantastic opportunity for growth-oriented individuals, who align their success with that of our broker partners and their customers.

The Sales, Programs & Partnerships Manager helps develop and execute BOXX’s growth strategy. This is a timely opportunity for an insurance sales professional or account manager who is ‘going places’ to step up and gain broader exposure and autonomy under the umbrella of the fast-building BOXX brand.

You will work closely with the USA operations and product teams to accelerate BOXX’s presence, growth, and underwriting success in USA. In addition, you will interface with BOXX’s partners in its marketplace to shape and sculpt propositions.

Requirements

Responsibilities:


  • Formulate, develop and operationalize plans for BOXX to trade in the USA within the defined time period

  • Formulate a Broker Channel & Partnership acquisition plan to add more partners selling BOXX product and services

  • Formulate, develop and operationalize product/segment business plans and delivery plans with partners to drive sales

  • To own and track key sales initiatives and projects through to success

  • Be a subject matter expert on BOXX’s partner and products’ value propositions

  • Collaborate with product and underwriting teams to develop best in class products and associated metrics for success

  • Identify opportunities to improve go-to-market efficiencies and lead efforts to scale

  • Drive best practice collaboration with sales teams in other BOXX operations and provide ad-hoc support

  • Support Sales planning effort and help ensure a unified and effective sales model across BOXX operations worldwide


Skills & Qualifications:


  • Passion for cyber security and domain knowledge of cyber insurance

  • Ability to demonstrate successful sales and account management, including building, maintaining and managing B2B2B relationships

  • Ambitious and Competitive individual able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial spirit

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal & written)

  • Proven ability to successfully negotiate on all levels

  • Persistence and motivation to meet sales targets

  • Attention for detail and demonstrated flexibility in managing multiple priorities

  • University degree or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 10 years of business development experience, ideally in the cyber security or cyber insurance industry
